Students at Sky Blue Theatre School study voice, movement, mime, acting and presentation skills for theatre, TV and film.
What do we do?
Our sessions explore and create confidence in acting and communication skills. Sessions may include: Makeup, Masks, Mime, Poetry, Shakespeare, Stage Fighting, Sight Reading, Acting, Improvisation, Interview and Presentation skills. There will also be some dancing and singing sessions.
Sessions explore every aspect of building confidence and communication skills with fun.
Our Agency
Dramawise has its own theatrical agency, students have appeared on crimewatch, adverts, and TV series.
Our Tutors
Teachers include - Frances Brownlie LRAM, LGSM, ADB - John Sebastian BA HONS - Frances Bartram Diploma in drama, playwright - Angela Anderson BA Hons - Quintus Benziger (Formerly Head of Music St Mary's Cambridge) - Rosemary Eason Actress - Mark Faith Actor - Steve Brownlie Tutor Mountview Conservatoire for the Performing Arts - Nic Brownlie Artistic Director MOPA Theatre Company. Guest tutors from all branches of theatre. All our tutors are CRB checked. Five are licensed chaperones.

Our Charges
Costs at most of our locations are £100 per term. Terms consist of ten two hour sessions, meaning classes work out at only £5 an hour! We are able to offer such competitive rates because we're not a franchise meaning you only pay for the classes!
Past Graduates
Graduates of Sky Blue Theatre School include BAFTA Award Winner - Stephen Mackintosh (Patron) and a Laurence Olivier Award nominee. Graduates can be seen in leading roles in London’s West End; on television series including ‘Bereaved’ with Julie Walters, ‘Eastenders’ and ‘Doc Martin’; and in films including ‘Memphis Belle’ and ‘Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels’.
Regular award winning performances by present students may be seen in theatres in the South East and on the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe.
Our Ethos
We know that in EVERY Child and in EVERY Teen there lies GREAT POTENTIAL. All we do is guide them to find it. Book Early to secure your place as class numbers are strictly limited.By giving the opportunity to work individually, as well as in groups, students quickly grow in confidence, improve techniques and gain knowledge in the performance arts.
Working with contemporary scripts, classic stories and Shakespeare’s plays means Sky Blue Theatre School students excel not only in performance arts but also regulation SATS and English GCSE’s. Many of our students come to class because they have heard first hand that we really create a place where people want to enjoy learning. Special classes are offered to prepare students for Speech and Drama examinations and auditions both for professional work and entry into drama school.
